5月23日，辽宁。一名男子讲述称，自己因为想看一些猎奇类国外电影（如《人食人实录》《人体蜈蚣》等），便在小红书上联系了一位网友。对方随后通过私信给他发送了大量相关影片。由于视频文件过大，需要时间下载，他一直没有来得及观看，只是把这些视频留在私信里，之后便没有再管。几天后，4名警察突然上门，要求其交出手机，并现场翻查聊天记录，随后还精准锁定了向他发送视频的网友。男子之后被警方带走调查了一夜。第二天，他又被送进看守所，涉嫌罪名为“非法持有宣扬恐怖主义、极端主义物品罪”。男子称，自己前后在看守所待了100多天。期间不断有人问他：“兄弟，你犯什么事进来的？”而他每次回答：“我是因为看电影进来的，准确来说我都还没看。”但几乎没人相信。事后，其家人四处借钱、托关系处理，最终案件以“定罪不起诉”结案，男子未被判刑，后被释放。如今，他每个月都在努力挣钱，偿还当初托关系欠下的钱。男子感叹：“在网警面前，我们根本没有隐私，哪怕是私信也一样。”
