From Sep 1, etomidate - the anaesthetic agent that has been found in vapes - will be listed as a Class C drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said on Sunday (Aug 24). The move makes it illegal to traffic, manufacture, import, export, possess or consume the substance without authorisation.
